Physical Therapy

So my last blog was all gloomy and depressing so I decided to now tell you my good news!! I got the results of my X-ray and my spine is perfectly fine. So my pain is all muscle. Anyways, I went to physical therapy for my first time on Thursday and learned what exactly is wrong. Two years ago I was in a car accident with my boyfriend, we were T-boned on the passenger side and i was pinned in the car by my hip. i had severe whip lash and bruised my lungs. When I got my whip lash the muscles in my lower back around my spine, and even my abs, got stretched. So during my two month recovery I was lying down not using these muscles and they shrunk. So now with me working, marching band, musical, dancing, these muscles are not prepared for the work and to protect themselves, clench up and I get my spasms.

So the therapist wants me to go twice a week and learn exercises to use to get these muscles working and to strengthen them back up. So on Thursday I had my first session and it was OMG!!! Okay, so the woman put on four patches on my lower back and hand my lie down on a REALLY thick heating pad. She turned it on and them had me pick a frequency for the patches, they then began to vibrate. The vibrations... and the heat... omy GOD i was in HEAVEN!!! I was sooooooo relaxed it was amazing!! I could have fallen asleep right there, except i had to read, sign, and fill our lots of papers.

I believe i'm REALLY gonna like physical therapy. :)

Back pain

So recently I have been having severe back pain to the point where I just sometimes wanna kill myself. It's in my lower to middle back, on the sides, and all in my hips. I have NO idea what it is or how it started, I just know it's now here and it sucks ass... So a few days ago i went to the doctor and she gave me more of my medicine i have been taking for this (600mg Tylenol, Anti-inflammatory, and muscle relaxers) and set me up my physical therapy and an X-ray today to try and see what is wrong. She said it might be from the car accident I was in almost two years ago, or it could be a herniating disk, anything really. So i'm all pissed and worried about this. Also last night my back started hurting so bad I was leaning on the side of my closet crying, but it hurt to cry and breathe. Life likes to fuck with me... hard... in the ass... it's not fun...

So anyways I didn't go to school today because it hurt too much to get out of bed and walk into the living room! I finally got myself out of bed and onto the computer chair to check emails and also to catch up on my blogging. Haha I've been sooooo busy with work, school, musical auditions and Christmas preparations i haven't thought about blogging.

So there you have it, my pitiful and pathetic blog update. Not the happiest but it's what's going on in life for me at the moment. So yeah... have a better day than i am!!

Shopping!!!

So today i was probably one of the most SMARTEST shoppers EVER!!! XD

I have a project in my Food and Culture class that requires me to plan a party. So with me wanting to go into Event Planning, i decided i wanted to plan a wedding!! I made it a winter theme since we are in December and it would be easier to find stuff suitable for a winter wedding now. So i went to Hobby Lobby (the most AMAZINGEST store ever when you wanna to DIY projects) and bought Poinsettias, Chrysanthemums, and White Roses for my flowers, I bought american moss, a square tall vase, a Styrofoam ball, and i plucked a few branches off a bush we have in the back yard. I want to make something that kind of looks like this.



Flowers would be different colors, there would be green moss int he glass, and i dont think there will be any fake snow on the branches.

I'm gonna do a lot and im mega excited about this project! This is what i wanna do with my life!! Im pumped XD So that's my quicky update.

Also we are in madrigal season and thats always funn. Im the queen this year and i wear this crazy looking outfit that makes me feel like elvis.

Thanksgiving break

So as i type this i am sitting in the den at my papa's house in Pinetops, North Carolina. It's a really tiny town that only really has an Abrams BBQ, a Dollar General, Family Dollar, and Hardes but it's nice and everyone knows everyone. I have been coming here ever since i popped out of my momma 18 years ago. The visit has been super nice, I saw my papa, Aunt Caroline, cousin Bella (who is 4 and growing up too fast), Uncle Edward, and my cousin Jamie and her new BF TJ who i like a lot. He's cool and is really sweet to my cousin. So i'm happy for her.
We had our Thanksgiving dinner on Friday because we drive down here the Thursday of thanksgiving because there is not much traffic then. And that night, when everyone else eats turkey, we have spagetti with meat sauce because we are cool like that!! XD
Our meal is the next day and i am sooo proud of myself this year!! I helped make some of the food!! I made the greenbean casserol and it was really good if i do say so myself! :)

Anywho today i am now bored outta my mind and feeling lazy. So here i sit, in green fuzzy pants, Guys and Dolls shirt, hair in a messy bun, glasses, and zero makeup! *gasp* But i'm comfy and that's all that matters!!

So i hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and didn;t eat too much turkey!! Anna out to watch Star Wars marathon! *nerd alrt*

Marching Band is over for me...

So today was the Holiday Parade in Lebanon which was the last time I will wear the uniform. I was uber sad. :( My marching days are over... It's all done, all we have left is the banquet and that's gonna get me even more sad and i'll probably cry like I did at Championships. Even thought I am sad it's all over, I now have my Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays open for other things! Like work... hahaha

Epidemic...

So I've got a HUGE decision to make on my hands right now, and it's about which college I go to. So, as you may have read in a past post, i got accepted to Lenior-Rhyne University which is where i wanna go... but my mom wants me to go to Millersville University because it is much closer and more local to home. Only issue with that is... I don't want to be close to home... I don't like PA (no offence to anyone who does) it just doesn't fit with me. I have about 2 more weeks until the early decision deadline for LR when i get first choice in a lot that will be done, classes, dorms, roommate, all that stuff. I wanted to hand in my enrollment fee in right away, but my mom wants me to wait until Millersville gets back to me, which they still haven't. Honestly, I don't care about Millersville, I want to go to LR, but i can't tell my mom i wanna go 8 hours away without her trying to keep me here. She wants me close to home so she can see me, see my performances, take me to dinner, stuff like that, but i feel more comfortable with LR's atmosphere. When i visited there, i felt sooooo happy and at peace it was amazing, Millersville was nice but did not have the same effect on me as LR did.

So I am asking for your help, do i tell my mom I am going to LR and that's it? Or do i got o Millersville to make her happy???

I AM ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!!

Sooooo... I GOT ACCEPTED TO LENOIR RHYNE UNIVERSITY TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

I got home from work and saw the BIG FAT envelope on my bed from Lenoir-Rhyne and i stared at it for almost 5 minutes afraid it was gonna jump up and bite me. I finally just opened it to get it over with and it was a folder like what they send as info about the school. I was all like "Great, more shit they are sending me" I go to open the folder and out fall 2 car stickers that say Lenoir-Rhyne University, i started to breathe faster, i open the letter and read "Dear Anna, ... Congratulations!" there was stuff in-between those words but that's all i read before i started to scream and jump up and down like a lunatic!!!! I run, almost fall, down the stairs and tackle my mom screaming "I GOT ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I then go tackle my dad and storm up the stairs waking probably the whole neighborhood with my screaming. I did most defiantly wake up my brother though and he wasn't all that happy, but i didn't care cause i got ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!!!

So that's my AMAZING news i had to tell you before i went to bed. Gotta get that out cause Ben fell asleep before i could start my major HORAH stuff, so i HAD to get it out somehow. Anyways that be all.
